Description

It is a modified polyamide - epoxy primer: it is pigmented with lamellar pigments and it has an effective anti - corrosive action with barrier effect. This product has a high ability to wet the substrate.

Use

This product is used as an anti - corrosive primer directly on non sanded steel, as a surface - tolerant product on old varnishes, on galvanized steel, on concrete. It is suitable for the painting of marine environments, heavy industrial environments and immersion in water, salt and alkaline solutions. It can be overpainted with epoxy intermediate paints, epoxy or polyurethane finishes.

Preparation of surfaces

Oxidised steel without calamine:
Mechanical cleaning at the grade St3, of Svensk Standard SIS 1967.
For artifacts to be exposed in highly aggressive environments, a sandblasting up to the grade SA 2 ½ is required.
For old paints: descaling and the next dust removal.
New concrete:
Acid washing in order to remove laitance layers and efflorescence
Old concrete:
Hydro sanding and removal of traces of greases or oils with a sterilization with flame.

Preparation of the product

Mix the product according to the following ratio by weight:
Component A : 100
Component B: 10
Mix Component A separately and then add Component B and mix together

If you use the brush, you have to use nylon or pure bristle brushes.
If you use the roller, you have to use medium - haired rollers.
For the application, use the method of crossing coats.
