Epoxy-polyamide primer rich in zinc

Use

The product is used for the production of steel structures to be used in industrial and marine environments. Not suitable, even if overpainted, for cycles involving dives in acid and alkaline solutions. It can be covered with all painting system on the condition that they are unsaponifiable. Suitable for retouching on inorganic zinc coatings.

Preparation of surfaces

New steel:
Sandblasting SA 3 for painting cycles that include immersion service.
Sandblasting SA 2 ½ for other cases.
Paint immediately after removing the abrasive and the dust.

Preparation of the product

Mix the product according to the following weight ratio:
Component A :                         100
Component B:                            4
Mix component A separately and then add component B

5 - 10% with epoxy thinner depending on the applications

Ambient temperature:             from + 10 to 35°C
Temperature of the surface:    >10°C
Humidity:                                 0 – 80 %
To prevent the formation of condensation the temperature of the surface
must be at least 3°C higher than the dew point

Application

Brush, roller, airless spray
For brush applications use nylon or pure bristle brushes.
For roller applications, use medium pile rollers.
For the application, use the method of the crossed hands.

Nozzle diameter: 0.43 - 0.48 mm (0.017 - 0.019 inch)
Air pressure: 150 bar
