Description

Mineral paint based on lime modified with synthetic polymers which reproduces the ancient opaque effect of lime.  It adheres without problems of peeling on damp surfaces.

Use

It can be applied on old and new plasters based on hydraulic binders, on absorbent mineral surfaces.
Not recommended on old synthetic paintings such as quartz paints and plastic coatings

Preparation of surfaces

New surfaces:
Make sure the surfaces are completely dry. In case of mould, treat the surface with suitable healings.
Eliminate any efflorescence and detaching paints by brushing and washing them.
Old paints:
Eliminate the old detaching paints. Paints based on tempera and lime should be removed by brushing and washing.

Preparation of the product

Mix the product before use and add water

Environmental conditions

Ambient temperature:             from + 10  to 35°C
Temperature of the surface:   > 10°C
Humidity:                                 0 – 75 %
To prevent the formation of condensation, the temperature of the surface must be at least 3 ° C higher than the dew point.

Note

The drying and the carbonation of lime is influenced by the environmental conditions: it is recommended to apply the product at temperatures between 10 and 35 ° C with humidity less than 75%. Avoid application under direct sunlight.
Exposure to low temperatures, high humidity, or rain may cause the surface to whiten.

Application

Brush and paint roller.
For brush applications use nylon or pure bristle brushes.
For roller applications use medium-hair rollers.
For the application use the method of the crossed hands.
