Description
Two - component mortar based on cement, special additives, siliceous aggregates, selected fine grained sand and water emulsion resins with high elasticity and high resistance to the chemical and atmospheric agents.
Use
This product is used for the waterproofing of terraces, bathrooms, showers, swimming pools before laying ceramic coatings. It is a product for an elastic skimming for the protection of plasters, plasterboard with cracks. If « RESINELASTIC » is not covered with ceramic products, it must be protected with suitable products based on dispersion acrylic resins. The special raw materials used and the high quantity of resin contained allows « RESINELASTIC » to be applied in all those difficult climatic environments, such as mountain or sea.

Preparations of surfaces
Carefully clean the surface by removing dust, all parts that are peeling off, grease and other contaminants, by pressure washing. In case of degraded surfaces, remove all parts that are peeling off and restore with suitable mortars.
Preparation of the product
Add the component A (powder) to the component B under mechanical stirring at low revolutions until you obtain a homogenous and thixotropic mixture free of lumps, making sure not to leave any parts of dust not dispersed.
Application of the product
« RESINELASTIC » must be applied within 60 minutes of mixing. Apply a first shaving coat with a spatula, spread an resistant mesh in alkali fiberglass and finish with the spatula. After 4 - 5 hours, apply a second layer in order to fully cover the mesh. Wait at least 5 days to allow the product to season perfectly and then cover up. In case of optimal temperatures and the substrate is well dry, the coverage time may fall to 24 hours.
