Description

Sanamur Argento is a washable water-based paint based on acrylic resins and SILVER IONS with antibacterial and immunizing properties whose function is to prevent the formation of bacteria on walls and to preserve them from the formation of moulds and algae for a very long time. For this reason, anti-mould and anti-algae agents, which are absolutely harmless to human beings, are added to the paint.
The main characteristic of Sanamur Argento is to prevent the formation of bacteria such as Aeromonas hydrophila, Alcaligenes faecalis, Cellulomonas flavigena, Corynebacterium ammoniagenes, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Providencia rettgeri, Pseudomonas aeruginosa serosa., Staphylococcus aureus

Use

Any dry, non-dusty wall surfaces, after preparation with suitable primers. Due to its particular characteristics, Sanamur Argento is recommended as the ideal paint for nurseries, clinics, operating rooms and for all the environments that require periodic washing.

Preparation of surfaces

New surfaces:
Make sure the surfaces are dry and compact. In case of moulds, treat the surface as follows: apply the necessary quantity of SD SPRAY SCIOGLI MUFFA and dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Apply one coat of SANIMUF by brush or roller and wait 24 to 48 hours before applying SANAMUR ARGENTO.
Eliminate any efflorescence and any detaching paints by brushing and washing.
Prime with ACRYLIC IMPRIMITURA diluted 1 to 4 with water or with H95 IMPRIMITURA diluted 1 to 1 with water in case of old surfaces, and 1 to 2 with water if the surface is new, or with MURO FIX IN diluted 25-30% with water of the same colour as the finish.
Old paints:
Eliminate old detaching paints. Paints based on tempera and lime must be removed by brushing and washing. Plater with our RESINSTUK IN PASTA and then prime with ACRYLIC IMPRIMITURA diluted in ratio 1 to 4 with water or with H95 IMPRIMITURA diluted in ratio 1 to 1 with water in the case of old or damaged surfaces, or 1 to 2 with water in case of new surfaces, or with MURO FIX IN diluted 25-30% with water of the same colour as the finish in presence of strong or contrasting colours.

Application

Brush, roller.
For brush applications use nylon or pure bristle brushes.
For roller applications use medium pile rollers.
Use the method of the crossed hands.

Warnings

SANAMUR ARGENTO reaches its maximum performance and resistance to washing 7 days after its application with temperatures between 18 ° C and 25 ° C. For cleaning and removing stains, use non-abrasive sponges and detergents free of alcohol or solvents. Before using the sponge, remove the excess with a paper towel. Some spots like red wine, coffee, tomato sauce, creams can be visible if removed after 24 hours. Others, such as particular fruit juices or markers, may not be completely eliminated. The rapid removal of stains from the surface promotes better cleaning. After the cleaning operation, the product can take 3 to 7 days to reach its resistance characteristics again. Oil, grease stains, or stains containing oil or grease cannot be eliminated.
