Thermo Coat is a Thermal Insulation system fully certified by GCF – chemistry srl and made by Resina Color.
We were among the first to certify this system back in 2012 with results said to be
GCF – chemistry srl EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE.
Today in 2020 we can say that with further research developments in quality and effectiveness of our products, the results are not extremely effective but:
ABSOLUTELY THE MOST EFFECTIVE
1 Use R17 (Adhesive-Rasher) to apply the polystyrene sheet.
2 Use R17 (Adhesive-Resistant) again to embed a certified alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh
3 Use Sottofondo as a stabilizer and fixative
4 Apply SpatoFLEX (elastic fibered trowel).
R17 (Adhesive-Sealant)
R17 is the single-component cement mortar to be used both for bonding heat-insulating panels in general directly to plaster, masonry, or concrete and as a skim coat for heat-insulating panels by embedding an alkali-resistant fiberglass netting that is also certified.
R17 is certified by GCF – chemistry Ltd. and made by Resina Color.
Sottofondo
SOTTOFONDO is a pigmented stabilizer and fixative, consisting of synthetic resins in emulsion and various additives. Key characteristics of the binder are complete soaping and strong penetrating and cementing power.
SOTTOFONDO enables better application of all wall coverings by promoting their perfect ancoraggio
