Today I talk about the advantages of using Nubilac – a water enamel.

A water enamel is an acrylic general purpose enamel which can be used both for the interiors and for the exteriors; it can be applied on different types of surfaces (wood, wall, PVC, light alloys, iron and so on and so forth).

Sometimes we are in front of products that are not first – quality paints; so they don’t allow to ensure many advantages that an excellent water enamel otherwise might offer.

In order to avoid incurring problems, we see together the 12 advantages of using Nubilac.

1. Being completely without solvents, Nubilac is non – toxic and odourless; so it can be applied in closed and little airy places without any danger to health, because this paint doesn’t create noxious and disagreeable vapours.
2. Thanks to the absence of solvents, it is a non – inflammable product, and then once again at low risk for the health. It is an excellent paint for the security of the places.
3. Nubilac is a special highly elastic paint that allows also the resistance to the impacts, scratches and abrasions exactly like a product based on solvent.
4. Its special composition prevents, for a long time, both the peeling and the cracking of the surface on which it was applied.
5. The kind of the film that Nubilac produces allows a very high covering, thereby increasing greatly the yield.
6. Unlike many paints existing on the market today, Nubilac has the great advantage of not turning yellow, when it is used in the white color.
7. Another great advantage of its film, any color we speak, it the very high seal of the brilliance over time.
8. Its special structure allows to be used directly on old substrates already treated with other products, ensuring however an excellent coating. Depending on the cases, it is still better consider whether this paint must be applied directly or with the use of an adhesion primer.
9. Being a product based on water, its drying to touch takes place after only 40 – 50 minutes, while the full drying happens after 6 – 8 hours. Instead, as regards its overcoating, it may be made after 12 hours.
10. Thanks to its special composition, Nubilac can be applied by brush, roller or spray; and the working tools can simply be cleaned with water in order to be reused at any time.
11. If it is used inside, Nubilac is certainly one of the most washable products that may exist on the market today.
12. If it is used outside, its strong acrylic component allows a high resistance to the chemical and atmospheric agents.

WHEN DO NOT USE A WATER ENAMEL

At least for my customers, the use of a water enamel is strictly forbidden when you are in the presence of moisture, because the surface may not be capable of supporting the enamel, causing its flaking.

WHEN USE A WATER ENAMEL

A water enamel is particularly recommended in health environments (hospitals, consulting rooms, laboratories), home kitchens, kitchens of restaurants, canteens, schools, so in all those environments that require a high hygiene, because, due to its washability, this product allows to be continually sanitized.

THE PRICE OF A WATER ENAMEL

The price of a good, or rather excellent enamel based on water is about 14 euros for packs of 75 ml.

If I may, I give you some advice: beware highly of very different prices.
