WATER-IMPREGNATING

Water-impregnating based on styrene-acrylic resins finely dispersed in aqueous solution at low viscosity and high degree of saponification.

It is used as a support for the anchorage of following coats of paint on new or old plasters, surfaces made of concrete, plaster and plasterboard. 

This product is also suitable for various kinds of mix, as long as absorbent, on old paints solid and well adherent.

Use

This product is used as a support for anchoring next layers of paint on new or old plasters, on concrete, plaster and plasterboard surfaces. It is also suitable for many kinds of building materials, provided they are absorbent, on old compact and well adherent paints.
 

dilution

Dilute with water depending on the absorption of the substrate; however, perform the following ratio: 1 litre of HK 595 with 1 litre of water for old or damaged substrates. 1 litre of H595 with 2 litres of water for new substrates.

Estimated yield

8 – 10 m² / litre on very absorbent substrates. 15 – 18 m² / litre on substrates such as plaster, plasterboard and traditional plasters.

Brush, roller
If you use the brush, you have to use nylon or natural bristle brushes.
If you use the roller, you have to use medium – haired rollers.
For the application, it is necessary to use the method of crossing coats.
