How to avoid condensation on the walls and to improve the heat insulation of its own home.

One of the most common problem that we notice in the houses, especially when there are children, is the presence of condensation on the walls of its own home in winter.

The impossibility to do airing our rooms creates a situation of sudden change in temperature from the interior to the exterior, in such a way as to cause the formation of condensation in the more cold corners of the house.

The creation of condensation is a problem that, if it is not faced well, may lead to the next phase of the presence of mould on the wall; thus it causes the increase in the possibility to have health problems.

The most famous symptoms caused by the mould are:

• Cold
• Conjunctivitis
• Stuffed – up nose
• Cough
• Respiratory allergies
• Asthma (in important cases)

For us who are involved in the paints and varnishes, we can give an important solution with the prevention of the problem, that certainly allows us to not arrive to the critical state of the presence of mould and so of risk for our health.

For years, in Resina Color, we have different solutions, but today I explain you a simple and successful way that anticipates the possible problem preventing it. While in the next articles, I will talk about the way to cope with this problem, if it already exists.

Our solution of prevention is MuroVivo.

MuroVivo is a heat insulating paint that technically prevents the heat exchange between the cold surfaces of the walls and those of the room, blocking in this way the formation of condensation.

Explained in a way more simple, if the temperature range between the wall and the inner environment is minimal, the problem of condensation is reduced and so the probability to create successively mould due to moisture goes down in a drastic way.

This type of operation is possible thanks to the glass hollow microspheres present in the paint that, once applied on the surface, act as a double glass, and thus they restrain the heat in the environment without dispersing it.

This phenomenon allows the warming of the paint, avoiding in  this way the formation of condensation.

The particular thing is that the thermal effect is noticeable on the treated surface, as you have a sensation of warmth if you lean your hand.

If you want to verify with hand this effect, you can also ask to our dealer who have in resale a sample that allows you to understand the real potential of this product, simply placing you hands on two surfaces, the first is treated with a traditional paint and the second with MuroVivo.

At this point, you will notice that the difference in heat that you will feel between the two surfaces is of high impact.

So if you have these situations that don’t allow you to air constantly the rooms of your home, you don’t have to wait that your environment becomes an unhealthy place, but you have to prevent this with a good heat insulating  and anti – condensation paint.
