Have you ever heard of silver ions?

It was said, or rather it is certain, that before the creation/invention of antibiotics, many diseases were cured precisely with ionic silver.

Even Greeks and Romans used kitchen utensils made of this material because it prevented contamination of food. They clearly understood the properties of this material that allowed them to store food much longer than others, without suffering contamination from bacteria, mold, fungi, etc.

So from the Romans until the arrival of antibiotics, silver was in various forms the best way to combat a whole range of health issues.

Even now ionic silver is marketed in Italy as a natural topical remedy to the medical fight against bacteria, fungi and viruses, a remedy therefore antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, because it is completely non-toxic for this use, while in other nations it is even used, in the form of colloidal silver, for internal use.

But what does this have to do with a paint?

Given this natural property of its own and also seeing that the topical use of this product is completely nontoxic, we began to think and believe that it could be of great benefit if used under certain circumstances that I will tell you about in a moment.

But first we wanted to find confirmation in this idea, and we had a series of research, tests and analysis performed by THOR laboratories according to the ISO 22196:2007 Test Method.

Yes I know you are wondering what THOR is, and these methods, but it would be too long and defocusing to argue the whole thing, let me tell you that it is one of the most advanced laboratories there is to perform different types of tests and analysis. Coming back to us, we added silver ions to one of our top paints and had them run analysis and tests to see what was happening.

The results have been extraordinary.

At the sterility test, which is useful for checking the presence of microorganisms and the degree of contamination, our product a demonstrated ZERO growth of:

• BEACTERS

• MUDS

• YEAST

SULPHUR-REDUCING BACTERIA – not detected

Really crazy and almost absurd to believe.

Another very important test, whose data I offer you, was the evaluation of the antibacterial activity of our material.

Basically, our product was put in contact with bacteria of the type Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

After 24 hours, the amount of bacteria of:

Staphylococcus aureus equal to (1.2 x 10000000) decreased to (4 x 10000)

Escherichia coli amounting to (1.1 x 10000000) decreased to (1.1 x 10000)

Results that made us realize and understand the strength and power of what we had created.

Data that confirm once again that research and development are basic prerogative to always improve.

But what is the paint that we have enriched with silver ions?

In our production there is a paint in itself suitable for environments that need to be sterile and that is SANAMUR.

From this we decided to enhance its effects by creating the SANAMUR-SILVER variant, which becomes unique in the market.

To its already beneficial effects, we add the silver ion component that thus enhances the results, guaranteeing them for durations ranging from 8 to 12 years.
