Hello, in this article I want to show you how you can change the look of a house by using a decorative paint that we manufacture and market at our dealers.
The decorative paint in question is PETRA, as well as a versatile decorative paint that can create many kinds of artistic effects.
To do this, it is also important to rely on creative and professional decorators, because they manage to achieve results that are often beyond the reach of everyone, and among them today I must mention GIUSEPPE NOTARNICOLA of NUOVA SAPEM in Noci (BA), who sent us pictures of some of his latest work done.
Before discussing Giuseppe’s work, I will make a premise about Petra:
PETRA is a self-polishing thick filler coating based on bicarbonate slaked lime, marble powder and additives of plant nature.
Due to its special characteristics PETRA is suitable for unique and inimitable effects, with appearance that brings back to natural stone, to plasters of the past but also to the imitation of a fabric.
KITCHEN
As can be seen, Giuseppe used the Petra decorative to completely replace the typical tiled wall covering used as a backsplash in kitchens.
This allowed him to be able to continue on the adjacent walls as well, without interrupting the aesthetic effect created by combining the decorative with the kitchen.
Excellent idea to be able to have a different environment than usual.
ZONE DAY 1
With a more ripped effect and a strong, dark color, the elegance will never fail.
Paired with a black sofa and a painting that creates depth, Petra blends in perfectly, bringing to mind those luxurious living rooms that serve as a corner for relaxing and reading. A warm and surreal environment for those who love privacy and being pampered.
ZONE DAY 2
In this new variation of Petra, our Giuseppe used 2 colors in horizontal bands, giving the wall in question more depth and a wallpaper-style impact.
Always very elegant in the choice of colors that go well with the colors of the surrounding furnishings.
NIGHT ZONE
Having a small space, with muted colors and using the banding effect, Giuseppe was able to give space and visual movement in one shot.
Whether with capitoné leather bed or wood and leather, the look remains very clean and elegant, exactly what the client wanted and asked for and what Giuseppe managed to turn into reality…a request that is also very common in Italian design.
DISMISSAL
What would be the solution to beautify a hallway?
Unfortunately, furniture very often fails to fit in, especially if we are talking about hallways, so the solution we are left with is to use furnishing accessories such as paintings and wall clocks…
Unless you opt for an alternative solution such as Petra decoration with vertical bands as our expert decorator Giuseppe Notarnicola did.
The combination of additional furnishing accessories is a personal and subjective detail of the homeowner.
THE STAIRWAYS
Another space often left to its own devices is the stairwell.
You cannot put in furnishings, but as of today you can improve the space with Petra.
Giuseppe rightly used a light color to avoid creating a gloomy space, and he used only one type of color to avoid enlivening a place that is already synonymous with movement.
So right again the choice Giuseppe made with his client.
